In the first light Mary is depicted holding an infant in long swaddling clothes. Two disciples stand behind Mary and five children are depicted beside her. In the second light Jesus sits among a group of children. An old woman in grey cloak and robes stands behind Jesus. The fair-haired girl in the blue bonnet and cloak in the foreground gazes outwards, her hands crossed in reverence.
