St. Brendan

St. Brendan (1916) is depicted wearing patchwork robes of greens, blues, purple and gold. The sun is shown setting behind his right shoulder. He holds a paddle in his left hand.
The bottom panel depicts the dramatic moment when Brendan encounters the unhappy Judas. Judas is shown as a grey, devilish figure surrounded by red and yellow flames.
