Sts Bernard and Barbara with Christ revealing the Sacred Heart
(3 lights) (A) (1927)
In February 1927 Harry received a commission for a three-light window at Tullycross in Co. Galway. Harry used the technique that he referred to as a ‘gadgett’ in this window of setting the main figures against a velvety night sky that is dotted with glittering celestial symbols (Bowe: 1994, p. 203). Stars, beams and shooting stars in blue, emerald, purple and silver decorate each light. The three-light window depicts Saints Bernard, Barbara and the Sacred Heart.
