The eleventh panel breaks with the narrative and depicts Porphyro playing a lute, while observed by a man and woman in medieval costume. The woman wields a knife and the man has his hand on his sword. A second man in the corner has fallen asleep but still holds a glass of wine in his hand. The panel is decorated with flowers.
