Jesus meets his mother (B)

James, son of Zebedee, holds the fourth station. He is robed in the simple clothes of a contemplative (Duffy: 2002). The inner medallion shows Jesus meeting his mother. Mary is dressed in traditional blue and has an aura of quiet dignity, even in the face of such extreme suffering.
